What can history teach us? If we are wise enough, we can look at our past mistakes and draw upon them to (hopefully) make a better decision in a future scenario based on that experience. With this in mind, I've noted down some of what I think we can learn from the events of the last war.

Just because someone thinks differently from you, it doesn't make them wrong. It doesn't give you the right to start telling them what to do just because you're bigger, stronger or smarter than they are. Talk to people, try to understand their perspective - if everyone did this, wars would effectively end. |
